The camera is meant to emulate classic horror games with tank controls like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. I've received some feedback that the tracking cameras are disorientating, so those will be adjusted in the future.
As of now, there's only progression up to getting hit by a Pantyhose Soldier, which you can trigger by
spoilers
Run past the "Exit" door near the trash can to spawn the Pantyhose Soldier, which will start playing audio.
The uhh, "philosophy" behind it, is haigure! (or ハイグレ！)
It is a fetish that originates from the anime Crayon Shin-Chan, and it boils down to "an alien invasion coerces the populace of a planet, with brainwashing ray guns, to make a silly pose, wear a high-cut leotard, and shout the word "haigure!" over and over," for various reasons, mostly just for humiliation purposes.
Technically the word "haigure" is an anagram of "high leg" in Japanese, high leg being spelled ハイレグ.
